Guess whats Coming?!?!

Its almost here! SECOND SATURDAY!!! It is NOT over for the year and it does run through the winter. Unfortunately Park Your Art by McMartin will be closed until March, but there are several other awesome events going on!


2ND SATURDAY!!! THIS SATURDAY!!!!

* Sara Jane and Co. Check out their awesome 3 day reception!!!

* Top Dawg at 2014 Del Paso Boulevard doing some live painting (weather permitting) on the patio. This little adventure is part of the reopening of Phantom Galleries. and here is a whole list of what else is going on with Phantom that night.Very cool stuff:

* Russell Nichols' awarding short film about Del Paso Boulevard "Stakin Claim" will be showing at The Stoney Inn every 30 minutes, 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. and Russell will be on hand for much of the evening to discuss the film. For more details, contact The Stoney Inn - (916) 927 -6023

.* Casa Bella Furniture will be hosting a wine and cheese reception for it featured artist, Daphne Burgess, from 6-8 p.m.

* Popular local band, The Benny's, will be playing in the parking lot of Casa Bella from 6-10 p.m.Plan to bring a blanket or lawn chairs if you plan to stay for the concert!

* Grant High School's Jazz Trio will be performing at 1811 Del Paso Boulevard at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Twin Rivers students will also be exhibiting their works. The district is also sponsoring a reception honoring the student artists and school board members at 6 p.m

.* A Brazilian music and dance performance will begin at 1811 Del Paso Boulevard (Capoeira Arts Academy) at 7 p.m.

* Giant kites will be on display at Top Dawg, 2014 Del Paso Boulevard* Icons and Abstracts, the works of John Krempel and Margaret Teichert, will return to Del Paso Boulevard at 1625 Del Paso Boulevard.Plus other places to check out:And if you are walking by, check out the mural between K and L st on 23rd Midtown.
